Spring 2014 Top Fashion Print & Video Ads

Spring’s most riveting fashion images, created by the most in-demand photographers,  models, actors, and popular faces of the moment, are seen in the newest fashion advertisements.

Alexander McQueen

Shot by Steven Klein, this short was inspired by the “voyeuristic elements of the 1960s British thriller PeepingTom” and features Kate Moss  with radioactive-yellow hair as a  gladiator.



Models whisper things like“The hot center is offset by a delicate crust” and “Melt a knob of butter in a pan and wait for it to sizzle”while other sound effects like a whistling kettle go off in the background.


Mui Mui

Miu Miu continues to cast white-hot young Hollywood talent, this time tapping Lupita Nyong’O (nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in 12 Years A Slave), Elle Fanning, Bella Heathcote and Elizabeth Olsen. Directed by Inez & Vinoodh, it’s a techno interpretation of the 70’s prints used in the Spring-Summer 14 collection.


Based on the idea of “turning the spectators into the spectacle,” Miuccia Prada and Steven Meisel assembled 18 of the most in-demand models of the season into a spectator box with morphing reactions (no one’s winning an Oscar here) through a series of imaginary events, like a tennis match, a horror movie, and a night at the opera.

Proenza Schouler

Directed by David Sims, with  models romping in what looks like mountains in Scandinavia with wind in their hair.


Christopher Bailey, the brand’s creative director and soon-to-be CEO, directed this one himself, but it was shot by Mario Testino. A crew of fresh-faced, young British models, actors and musicians — including actor Jamie Campbell Bower, musician Leo Dobson, models Malaika Firth, Matilda Lowther and newcomer Jean Campbell
— lounge around a mimimalist English garden.
